Google Family Link is a service that allows users to store photos, videos, and other files on Google Drive. The service is free for users who have a Google account. To set up Cloud Storage for Google Family Link, you first need to create a Google Drive account. Once you have created a Google Drive account, you can then sign in and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen to get started. The first line will ask you to choose how you want to set up your Cloud Storage for Family Link: either as an individual drive or as part of a group drive. If you choose to set up your Cloud Storage as an individual drive, then you will need to enter your name and email address into the two fields below. You can also choose whether or not to add any other family members to your Cloud Storage for Family Link account. If you choose to set up your Cloud Storage as part of a group drive, then all of your family members will need to sign in and join the group before they can access their files. You can find more information about setting up Group Drives here. Once you have chosen how you want your Cloud Storage for Family Link to work, next we need to create some files! To do this, we will first needto create a new file called “FamilyLink_Setup_Instructions.” This file will contain instructions on howto set up your Cloud Storage for Family Link. Once we have created our new file, we can click on it so that it becomes active in our Google Drive account. Once our file is active in our Google Drive account, we can start using it!
